February Membership Luncheon

District Attorney Walter Reed
At our February Membership Luncheon on, February 7th, we welcomed District Attorney Walter Reed, 22nd Judicial District as the guest speaker. He discussed his long and distinguished career in law enforcement.
At the luncheon we also celebrated some milestone HBA Anniversaries. Due to technical difficulties, we don’t have a photo, but thank you to the following members for celebrating their anniversary with us: Nancy Lee, CSP of Hearthstone Homes by Ron Lee celebrating 10 years, David Gaspard, GGA, CGP of Floorco, Inc. celebrating 10 years and Frank Bergeron of Custom Outdoor Concepts celebrating 5 years. New Members Sarada LeBourgeois of Stone Title
At the luncheon we also welcome a new member, Sarada LeBourgeois of Stone Title. Other new members not present were TJ Waguespack of ABC Supply Co., Inc., Craig Weston of BuilderFusion, Inc., Joseph Holzhalb of Noah’s Restoration, LLC, Brandt Gibert of Premier Pools and Spas, and Mike Williams of Wilco Concrete Pumping, LLC.
Our next Membership Luncheon will be on March 6th, 11:45am at Benedict’s Plantation in Mandeville. There Bevolo Gas and Electric Lights and Sears Commercial will be presenting special offers for Parade of Homes Builders and STHBA Members.
Roast of Donny Jenkins
Posted by: | CommentsOn January 27th, over 100 people attend the Roast of Donny Jenkins, CGB at Vintage Court. Donny was a great sport as 8 of his best friends made jokes at his expense. Thanks to the generous support of our members, we were able to raise a substantial amount to benefit the St. Tammany HBA Political Action Committee.

Business After Hours Tonight
Posted by: | CommentsJoin us tonight for the first Business After Hours of 2012. Habitat for Humanity-St. Tammany West and NOLA Lending Group are hosting us for a night of food, drinks and networking. The event will be located at Habitat West’s Restore, 1400 North Lane (off Hwy 59) in Mandeville.
The store will be open to accept donations and to make purchases.

Roast of Donny Jenkins

Now is your chance to hear what everyone really thinks about Donny Jenkins! The St. Tammany HBA Political Action Committee is holding a Roast in his honor on Friday, January 27th at Vintage Court in Covington. Join us for some good natured ribbing.

January Membership Luncheon
Posted by: | CommentsThe January Membership Luncheon, on January 4th, attracted a very large crowd of approximately 115 people. Many of these people came to hear the new St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister. There Mrs. Brister discussed her plans and goals for St. Tammany during her presidency. Among those goals are economic development and transparency.
We also welcomed a new member. Keith West of West Custom Homes, LLC was in attendance. Other new members who joined in December are Michael Beals of Water Tight Construction, Travis Bond of Travis Bond Construction, Daniel Pena of Pot O Gold Rentals, LLC, Edgardo Salazar-Pineda, and Doug Shank of Vertical Contractors, LLC.
