January Membership Luncheon
Posted by: | CommentsThe January Membership Luncheon, on January 4th, attracted a very large crowd of approximately 115 people. Many of these people came to hear the new St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister. There Mrs. Brister discussed her plans and goals for St. Tammany during her presidency. Among those goals are economic development and transparency.
We also welcomed a new member. Keith West of West Custom Homes, LLC was in attendance. Other new members who joined in December are Michael Beals of Water Tight Construction, Travis Bond of Travis Bond Construction, Daniel Pena of Pot O Gold Rentals, LLC, Edgardo Salazar-Pineda, and Doug Shank of Vertical Contractors, LLC.

December Membership Luncheon
Posted by: | CommentsThe December Luncheon was a very busy event. Thank you to everyone who brought toys and food items for St. Tammany Project Christmas. We were able to give them two very large boxes!
Chris Brown of the City of Mandeville was the guest speaker. Chris discussed the new FEMA flood maps that will go into effect next year. Thanks to the changes, many City of Mandeville residents will experience lower flood insurance premiums. We also introduced two new members, Nate Lefever with East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity Restore and Al Hamauei with First Bank and Trust. We also recognized some membership anniversaries. Conbeth celebrated 20 years and C&H Foundations celebrated 25 years.
At the luncheon we also raffled off a beautiful leather Lane recliner donated by American Factory Direct. The proceeds benefited the 2012 “Raising the Roof for Charity” Raffle House. Congrats to our winner, Raul Martin.
